The 2013 National Biotechnology Week (NBW), organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and other government agencies, recently honored the country’s top science and technology (S&T) journalists in the 2013 Jose G. Burgos Jr. Awards for Biotech Journalism.

DOST research council treats Taguig folks to a science-filled day

To celebrate its 80th Foundation Anniversary this December 8, 2013, the Department of Science and Technology - National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) will show various research-based technologies and state-of-the-art science and technology information to the public in a program dubbed as Agham Mula sa Lahat, Para sa Lahat. This activity will be held on 6 December 2013, Friday, 8 am onwards, at the NRCP Compound, Gen. Santos Ave., Bicutan, Taguig City.

Mindanao Cluster S&T Fair

DOST officials lead the opening of the exhibit of the DOST Mindanao Cluster Fair held at Almont Inland Resort in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. The exhibit, which ran from November 6-10, featured DOST projects as well as products from enterprises assisted by DOST through the Small Enterprise Upgrading Program.
