Adapting to the 'new normal', the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) successfully conducted its two-day 1st Quarter Virtual Management Review on June 22-23, 2020.

DOST XI Regional Director Dr. Anthony C. Sales, CESO III said the activity is a milestone for the office since it is the first online meeting attended by all employees and contract of service personnel from the Regional Office and the City and Provincial Science and Technology Centers (C/PSTCs). He added that the said activity aims to review and revisit proceedings, workflows and documents, ensuring that all are properly managed, updated and relevant especially now as we shift to the new normal.

Director Sales also emphasized that the conduct of online meetings and trainings will be done even when the health crisis is over as part of the precautionary measures in preparation for occurrence of another possible pandemic. Highlights of the meeting include the reporting of the 1st quarter accomplishments and various innovations to help combat COVID-19 done by the different divisions of the DOST Regional Office XI, the CSTC and PSTCs, re-echo of Internal Memoranda/Special Orders issued/Policy review, reporting of Quality Monitoring of Functional Objectives, and presentation of the results of the Morale Survey 2019.
