INVITATION TO BID


The PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL-CENTRAL MINDANAO CAMPUS, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Association Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

 

Name of Contract : Construction of Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Phase 1
Location : Nangka, Balo-i, Lanao del Norte
Brief Description : Construction of Multi-purpose Gymnasium, Phase 1
Approved Budget
for the Contract (ABC) : Nine Million Four Hundred Thousand Pesos & 00/100 (Php 9,400,000.00)
Contract Duration : Six (6) months

 

Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB License applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/ Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

 


All particulars relative to the Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R. A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

6. Opening of Bidding Documents March 27, 2013, 10:01AM
(Based on PSHS-CMC Bundy Clock Official Time)
7. Bid Evaluation and Ranking April 1-2, 2013
8. Post Qualification and BAC Recommendation for Award April 3-5, 2013
9. Approval of Resolution by Higher Authority April 8-May 10, 2013
10. Issuance of Notice of Award May 14, 2013
11. Contract Preparation and Signing May 15-20, 2013
12. Issuance of Notice to Proceed May 21, 2013


The Eligibility and Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Ten Thousand Pesos and 00/100 (P10, 000.00) to the PSHS-CMC Cashier.

 


The PSHS-CENTRAL MINDANAO CAMPUS reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. Further, PSHS-CMC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
