The Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee – I (RRDIC-I), a committee of the Regional Development Council (RDC), signs a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with RTI International, implementing the U.S.-Philippines partnership for Skills, Innovation, and Lifelong Learning (UPSKILL) Program.
With funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), UPSKILL collaborates with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to bridge the gap between technology innovation and commercialization, aligning these efforts with national development priorities.

Francisco, co-founder and editor-in-chief of FlipScience.ph, with 100 senior high school students from 14 schools in the province of Albay during a three-day science journalism workshop held from October 8-10, 2024, at Ysablle’s Function Room in Legazpi City.
