The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting submissions for the PH-ROK Joint Science & Technology Research Program 2024. This program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT-Korea) and its National Research Foundation, aims to foster international research collaboration and exchange between the Philippines and Korea.
In this year's program, both countries will provide support for joint projects focusing on (i) nuclear science/applications and (ii) water security. Each project will have a duration of three years and will receive funding assistance worth USD96,000.00 or Php5,000,000.00 to support Filipino researchers. It is required that Filipino applicants/researchers have at least one Korean partner-researcher from a scientifically/technically recognized institution in Korea. The researchers should be experts in the relevant research fields mentioned above.
