To those who are already in the food business or those mulling to venture in it, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has exactly the services you need.
On Nov. 15, the DOST-Industrial Technology Development Institute will share to the public some food processing technologies that people can avail themselves of through licensing and technical services. The activity is second in DOST-ITDI’s five-part 2017 ITDI Technology Offering series.

A study on call center agents finds that food intake and physical activity are associated with obesity. Interestingly, the same study also reveals that alcohol consumption, specifically beer, was consumed more by regular shift workers than by late shift workers.

Candon City, Ilocos Sur -- Amid simple ceremonies, the cities of Candon in Ilocos Sur and Laoag in Ilocos Norte officially switched on their time pieces conspicuously mounted in the center of their respective cities. The time pieces were put in sync with the Philippine Standard Time or PhST which is managed and maintained by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
