A local startup firm in Cebu developed a comprehensive and customizable system that would allow HR groups to devote more time to developing and planning programs related to career advancement, skills development as well as the creation of an ideal workplace for their employees. 

Called Payruler, this web-based application is tailor-fit for HR process automation of different businesses in the country. The project is supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through a grant under the business incubation program.

Sa ilalim ng proyektong "Recycling and Recyclability Index for End-of-Life Jeepneys” na pinondohan ng Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development o DOST-PCIEERD at kasalukuyang isinasagawa ng University of Asia and the Pacific-School of Social Engineering (UA&PSSE), nadebelop ang isang rating system na maaaring kwentahin ang recyclability at recovery ng vehicle components o mga parte ng isang sasakyan.

The other manufacturing, retail-wholesale trade, and government services are the top three economic sectors that are critical during the pandemic,based on a studyon “Mitigating Economic Losses from COVID-19: Insights from Input Output Analysis,”which was presented in a webinar on “COVID-19: Where We Are and Where We Want To Be.” The research looks at the economies of both Malaysia and the Philippines.
